Software Update Workflow

BAckground
The goal of this project was simple: develop a generic software update workflow that could be picked up and dropped in any software product that facilitated software updates for connected hardware. The goal of these wireframes were more conceptual and less about presenting the final design, as it would likely vary depending on the product.
Process
I, along with another UX Engineer worked with two stakeholders to develop a simple software update workflow. We started with low fidelity drawings so we could move efficiently through iterations of our thoughts and designs.
Operations such as selecting files and choosing dates and times are things we do on a daily basis, so I pulled from current design trends for those operations. Once we had collectively agreed on our workflow, I created higher fidelity drawings just to give developers a visual idea of the process and what users should expect to see.
